ECHOS

  • Client : Galerie Ségolène Brossette
    Year : 2021

Echos is a singular collection of trays specially designed for the Ségolène Brossette gallery. Each tray in extra clear mirror is the support of thin lacquered metal handles which wave and seem to float in weightlessness. The line being in interaction with its reflection, each point of view draws new graphic signs. The tray becomes a precious and reflective scene. Place objects on the tray and this previously minimalist scene comes to life. Between sculptural object and usual object, the Echos collection calls into question the very status of the domestic object. The Echos trays function as compositional snapshots between handles, objects and surrounding spaces that appear and disappear according to the movement of its observer. In doing so, a corporeal relationship is established between Echos and the viewer. Exhibited during the collective exhibition "la dernière avant 2022!", the Echos collection is in dialogue with the work of the artists of the Ségolène Brossette gallery and reveals unusual connections between the different works presented.
